How to measure
Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms, keeping the tape level and comfortably loose.
Garment width: lay a shirt you already own flat and measure across from armpit to armpit. Compare it against the width column above for the closest match.
Fit notes for retro shirts
Kits from the 1980s and 1990s were cut much looser than modern shirts, with wider bodies and longer sleeves. That boxier shape is part of the character of the era, and we keep it.
- For the authentic period look, order your usual size.
- For a closer, modern fit, order one size down.
- Shirts from the 2000s onwards are cut closer to the body already, so stay true to size.
